Welcome to Mildura - "Tropical" North Victoria

Great to see our regions new cheeky campaign launch of Mildura.com, our main tourism website. Ambassador Shane Jacobson is doing a great job promoting pour region. Mildura's new "Tropical North Victoria" tourism campaign aims to highlights the region's unique blend of riverfront experiences, warm climate, and lush landscapes, and attract visitors by showcasing Mildura as a vibrant destination with tropical charm, emphasizing outdoor activities, local cuisine, and its picturesque setting along the Murray River. The word "Tropical" is clearly a play against Queensland tourism, but we all know we have more sunshine than the Gold Coast and the promotion is certainly getting seen and recognised which is awesome. Fantastic to see our fantastic local river lifesavers being recognised too!
